Chef Khalil’s love for cooking started when he was just eight years old, learning from his Aunt Grace and Uncle Herb on their farm in Jarretsville, Maryland. From family barbecues to professional kitchens, that passion grew into his life’s work.
Today, with restaurants like Katch 22, Katch 22 Soul, and now Phence & Post, Chef Khalil shares more than meals—he shares a vision of food that feels like home.
